Instead of airing So you think you can dance?, they should really show So you think you can drive (a car)?.
Tonight, cycling back after pub quiz, I had my worst road experience so far (even worse than the brakes failing on my old Honda Civic, just out of Temple View). In those 10min of cycling, admittedly in the rain, three (yes, the number between two and four) cars pulled out in front of me.
The first one did at least stop (was about to pull out of a parking space along the road side).
For the second one I had to break and skidded only a bit (was pulling out of a car park at the museum and crossed my lane).
But the third one really took the bikkie (not giving way, turning into the main road right in front of me): I had to break so hard in order not to slam into that car’s side, that I skidded and my back wheel almost overtook my front one. What a friggin’ sonovabitch!!
