Just found out, that Peter Lustig has died aged 78. I watched a lot of episodes of Loewenzahn when I was a kid. Loved that show that was able to explain things to kids in simple terms. Still remember the time we were on a school trip in Berlin and visited the Berliner Dom. Parts were cordoned off due to TV filming. I joked that the guy over there looked like Peter Lustig. Turned out it was him. Unfortunately, we didn’t meet with him personally, but we still got some autographs thanks to my old English Teacher who talked the security guy into getting our entry tickets for the Dom signed by Peter. 🙂
