No, I’m not talking about the Memphis Meltdown, but about the complete meltdown of our servers here at uni this morning. Apparently, at 1am, the A/C failed in the server room and over time the temperature ramped up so bad, that the fire brigade showed up, suspecting a fire!
It’s a real bummer, since I came in to work early this morning due to a mid-morning appointment at the dentist (yay!). Nothing works, no home directory for my Linux work station, no mail server, nada, niente. Oh well, gives me time to blog… 😉
