Today, I encountered a melt-down of GMail. Not very nice, if web-access is your only way of accessing email! Seemed to be quite a big problem, and not just a few users. Apparently, a temporary outage in a contacts systems caused this problem. We’ll see whether it happens again anytime soon. So far, GMail seems to be the better email solution compared to our in-house email system (SquirrelMail is OK, but a bit outdated compared to RoundCube), which got hit by a spambot attack just over a week ago.
