Has been a rather uneventful week so far… Bachelor for a week again, getting used to my new desk (I love it!!), lots of work and adding the finishing touch to my laptop’s setup. I’ve spent quite a lot of time, trying to get my various versions of Windows up and running under VirtualBox. Windows XP wasn’t really an issue, it only took time installing everything. But Vista, man, what a nightmare! Thanks to it’s friggin’ User Account Control (that’s the annoying popup need to confirm to run blah as administrator – geez, do I hate that!) one cannot map network drives as regular user – being a member of the Administrators group doesn’t seem to help there either. After long hours of research on the net and trial and error, I’ve finally come up with a solution that I can live with. 🙂
