Dancing goo

Boy, it’s been a while since my last post… But the last months, I’ve been really busy with the current research funding round from MSI. It was great to be a bit more involved in the process, but also a bit more stressful. Why? Well, if your job depends on the research funding, then you’re kinda under a bit of pressure… 🙁

Anyhow…

Watching The Big Bang Theory episode with the dancing corn starch, I always wanted to perform that experiment as well. But somehow, didn’t get around to. The other day, I came across a post on Slashdot, covering non-newtonian fluids used for filling potholes. And tonight, we watched Nova on channel 7, and they covered non-newtonian fluids again. So we mixed up some corn flour with water, turned our sub-woofer around and bam! here you go, our own dancing goo! Sorry, oobleck

[Movie: Totally addicted to bass!]
