It is one year ago, on the dot, that Christchurch experienced a massive earthquake that cost 185 lives. The city is still only slowly recovering from that day (and all those many aftershocks for months afterwards). There are still 1000s of homes to be demolished. I think, we are quite lucky here in the Waikato, in regards to natural disasters. Fingers crossed and all the best for Christchurch, that the healing continues.
