Last night, we went to the annual Hamilton Circle Jerk at Flow Bar (when I came first to Hamilton, it was still known as The Catalyst – time flies by…). And no, sorry to disappoint you all, it was not a mutual masturbation performed by males. I only knew that there were lots of local bands playing. But what I didn’t know, that these bands cover each other, each presenting about two covered songs. Very cool and very divers!
My favorite band? Dicky Dynamite and the Doppelgängers. A trio consisting of double-bass (yeah, baby!), a guitar player and, rather unusual, a drummer playing standing (something I only knew of Bela B., the drummer of Die Ärzte). Hard Rock’n’Roll sounds really cool! 🙂
